  1. Do you actually wear a money belt? I wore one when in venice, but made me feel like an ultra tourist! (also got a little sweaty!)

  2. I have! I wore it underneath my clothes so no one could see. It's kind of a nuisance, but I still have my passport and money so I guess it didn't hurt... still not entirely convinced on the idea, however.

I think we should test them out in France. Or Europe, generally.

  3. One day i want to read an tourist book for people visiting America, I wonder if they suggest wearing a money belt in the USA or Canada for that matter. I guess what i'm getting at is... is the money belt for tourists in general? Or for specific countries?

  4. haha! Good question!

I'm sure people are saying it for NYC... and perhaps they're right! Though you have a great point. I've never used one in the USA and I'm sure we have our share of pickpockets. I think they're kind of overkill... maybe... it just seems that the people who would buy and use one are likely hyper-aware of their possessions. Just my .02 cents!
